On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first major tank battle, the documentary is dedicated to two episodes of the steel weapon and undertakes an exciting and multifaceted journey through time into history.
This Episode shows the development of the tank at the end of the Second World War until today. In the Cold War tanks became brutal tools of authoritarian systems and a symbol of political oppression. In the anti-war movement of the 1960s and 1970s, the tank stood for clinging to old, military and authoritarian structures.
