Unique animal footage rounds off the portrait of mountainous landscapes which have much more than just barren rocks to offer. Extremely stable aerial Cineflex pictures, complex tracking shots and impressive time lapse photography – all in HD quality. Filmmakers worked for five years to collect the material that allows unique insights into Germany’s mountain world, travelling from Saxonian Switzerland to the Palatinate Forest, from the Harz to the Alps. The spectacular results are to be seen in the episode Mountains from the series Wild Germany.
