While the prime suspect is being held in police custody, more dead bodies are found. The signature is always the same, with all the victims exhibiting evidence of frostbite, and a black gemstone covering each victim’s left eye. Freudenstadt’s investigative duo, Maris and Konrad, have to assume that there are multiple perpetrators who share the same motive. When the perpetrators target Maris, a race against time begins.
