Bar owner Carolin has been gunned down. During the investigation, police officers Süher and Henk are caught between two opposing factions: the conservationists and the farmers. Carolin’s boyfriend Erik Thomsen is head of the nature conservation group and is in a dispute with the farmers’ alliance. The conservationists feel it is important to protect biodiversity with mowing bans, but the farmers fear this will result in financial losses for them.
