Lydia Orlova and her mother Svetlana inadvertently observe a brutal murder in an apartment in Athens in real-time on their computer screen in Hamburg during a video conference. Though they hope to escape notice, the perpetrators realize there are witnesses to their crime. Sensing the magnitude of what they have witnessed, the panicked women scramble to disconnect the laptop, gather their belongings, and flee their apartment in a hurry.
