After a fellow officer shoots himself right in front of her while on a call, Helen Dorn faces her own feelings of guilt along with the unspoken accusations of her fellow officers, starting with Detective Chief Inspector Tayfun Murat. At the same time, she has to solve the murder of a young medical student. The detective’s investigations take her to the oncology department at a hospital in Hamburg, and she soon finds out the victim had been leading a double life.
