The Munich airport at dawn. There lies Willy: slashed, bled dry and run over to boot. Franz Germinger, Jr. is on the case. A radical right-wing taxi driver, two secret agents and the victim’s loopy daughter all keep Franz Junior on his toes. And he’s not alone – much to his chagrin, his little sister once again steps in as his unwanted sidekick. Where this family is concerned, it comes as no surprise that Franz Senior and Erika knew the victim. They decide to take the investigation into their own hands – as a matter of course. As policeman Karl says, “This one is a real doozy.” This time, it would seem he's absolutely right. The second case for Franz Germinger, Junior and his unconventional family takes them back to the early ’80s. Franz Junior learns of a plot hatched shortly after his birth, whose aftershocks echo into the present. Even his own identity won’t remain unscathed.
