Having left Hamburg with her daughter Lea to return to her family in the south of France, Dr. Véronique Gilbert opens a new country doctor’s practice in Talon, partnering with argumentative Dr. Hugo Simon. Hugo, a born and bred Parisian, feels he is an equal partner, but Véro holds one percent more of the practice than he does. This is a source of constant bickering for the two. But in the midst of their arguing, along with some flirting, they are called to the scene of a dramatic emergency.
