Hotel manager Hanna Liebhold assigns a new co-worker, Betty the tour guide, to assist Tom on the wedding voyage to the Cyclades. Tom, a wedding planner, is happy to have Betty’s help, as there is much to be done. Nina and Casper, the bride and groom, met and fell in love in a restaurant in Copenhagen. The lovebirds are accompanied on the voyage by their mothers, Marion and Sandra. The two women had both gone to school for fashion design and had been best friends until Marion felt betrayed by Sandra.
