The Dewitts pay a visit to eldest sister Eva, pressing her for details regarding a suspicious fire that burned down the family chalet just 10 months ago. In flashback, Birgit approaches Eva with a ‘practical’ plan for killing their brother-in-law. At first, Eva is horrified by the suggestion, but she starts to have second thoughts after witnessing a particularly troubling incident between Goedele and Jean-Claude at the annual Wijnants & Company staff party. Birgit’s meticulous attention to detail and stringent calculations would seem to spell a perfect plan for murder… until unforeseen circumstances cause everything to unravel. The clan fears that their little ‘incident’ at the chalet may have aroused suspicion, but youngest sister Bekka has other things on her mind… an illicit date with Mathias.
