Lieutenant Colonel Karl Rottenberg has a heart attack while playing tennis. His son Markus calls the air rescue team against his father’s will. Rottenberg refuses stubbornly to take his cardiac condition signals seriously and denies any help. Only pilot Blank can get through to him 'among flying men'. Meanwhile, the crew finds out why Colonel Brandt was waiting for the crew at the headquarters, Captain Blank will be promoted to Major. Everybody is happy – besides him. He fears that his flying days are over.
