Dr. Specht, a likeable German and history teacher at Celle high school, enjoys the trust of his students. However, this causes problems for him with both the physical education teacher and the father of one of his students. Then, halfway through the school day, Dr. Specht receives an unexpected message sent from the town of Saßnitz. His father, believed dead for more than 30 years, wants to see him.
