Antonia Vogt is going back to her parents’ farm in Namibia to celebrate her grandmother's 80th birthday. Antonia grew up on that farm with her younger sister Bianca. Back in Namibia she also meets the love of her life again, Hans – and nothing seems to have changed: Hans still lives at the neighbor farm with his wife Anne who is paralyzed. His father Friedrich still hates Antonia’s family profoundly. Antonia’s love towards Hans grows stronger the longer she stays. However, they both know that this relationship has no future. One day, Antonia’s parents die in a plane crash. The sisters are left only with their grandmother Maria, who is unable to operate the farm on her own. Their selfish neighbor Friedrich takes advantage of that difficult situation and tries everything in order to take over the land from Antonia and Bianca. The sisters are demoralized and willing to sell the farm to Friedrich, however half the land belongs to their dad’s missing twin brother. When they search for him, they are suddenly confronted with a long kept family secret…
