After the 1933 parliament fire, President Hindenburg signs a decree that suspends freedom of speech. Additionally, Hitler secured a majority vote in elections and referendums held apparently for his own benefit, signaling that the Germans were behind him.

The first concentration camps for political opponents are set up. People in Germany know about it and agree silently, initially only political opponents and minorities are affected.
