It’s the most desired relic in Christianity. The Grail is the cup of wine that Jesus shared with his disciples during his last supper. It symbolizes the Alliance between Jesus and humanity. It’s known to have incredible powers: defeat enemy armies, raise the dead, and above all, bring eternal life. The cup is the most sacred item in Christianity: it has given rise to a legendary quest for the Grail. However, this artefact is shrouded in mystery. No one can say what it looks like. Today, dozens of churches claim to hold the Grail. Some even think they have found it. But how do we know for sure which one is the real one? We went to the best expert on ancient pottery. We followed the Grail, from Jerusalem to Spain and the castles of Southern France. The closer we want to approach the Grail, the more it seems to… escape us.
