A severed arm on the beach near Rantum causes a stir in the Sylt police force. The Coast Guard searches for the body in the North Sea, because it was in all likelihood cut off by a boat propeller. Chief Inspector Theo Clüver and his colleague Hinnerk Feldmann follow up on a strange occurrence reported by a uniformed colleague: allegedly, the night before a lifeless body was discovered in a hotel parking lot. However, a brief time later it had vanished without a trace. Does the arm belong to the body they are searching for? Apparently, no one in the hotel saw or heard anything. Not even the hotel’s owner Hannah Kronen knows anything about the body’s mysterious disappearance from her hotel parking lot.
