Early one morning near Flensburg, a farmer discovers an overturned car under a bridge with a dead body inside. Initially, it appears to be an accident, but evidence soon reveals that the victim, Björn Hinrichs, was killed prior to the crash. Hinrichs, an apartment building manager, had been engaged in a dispute with Henning Riedel, a tenant with a criminal history of assault charges and a known propensity for violence.
