After learning of her father Josef’s car accident, Franziska Gasser travels to South Tyrol. She only plans to be there for a short time, looking after things at her parents’ vineyard and helping out with the harvest. Franziska has absolutely no intention of taking over the vineyards. Returning home fifteen years after leaving, she once again finds herself face to face with the old conflicts between the Germans and the Italians. The seemingly insurmountable and unending rifts between the Gasser and Antonelli families also threaten to extinguish the love growing between her and Marco Antonelli as well.
