Dr. Moritz Neiss, an eccentric bachelor and jetsetter, was actually on the way to Australia to have his hand repaired. Then he learns in Flensburg that he fathered a daughter named Lea during a one-night stand 16 years ago, and that the girl’s mother has recently passed away. Neiss is asked to give his consent to Lea being adopted by her stepmother Charlie.
