When a man collapses right in front of their practice, Dr. Neiss and Charlie administer first aid. At the hospital, the patient turns out to be Dr. Schmidtke’s father-in-law. Dr. Schmidtke does everything he can to help his father-in-law and to look brilliant while doing so. But when nothing helps, his wife Jana contacts Dr. Neiss. Ironically, the two of them had a fling during their studies, or so Schmidtke believes. This certainly doesn’t help defuse the situation.
