Upon boarding the ship, Roman Hilbert is immediately struck by how closely Jana Stern, a dance instructor, resembles his late wife. Because of the memories Jana awakens in him, Roman invites her to join him at his hotel on Mauritius. Jana is looking forward to the getaway, but she soon discovers that Roman’s son Niklas works at the hotel, and he does not seem one bit happy about his father’s arrival there.
