Professor Viktor Capellari is a criminology professor at the University of Munich, a charming bachelor in his prime and a passionate amateur detective. He spends his days off from lecturing in his old and somewhat run-down house in Starnberg. Wily and a bit irreverent, Capellari loves cracking the cases the somewhat slow-moving local justice system fails to solve in the area surrounding his beloved lake.
