For Karo Bäcker big city life far away from Klein-Beken has long since lost its appeal. So she has returned home to the small village community together with her attractive husband Kai, a manager coach. With childhood friend Britta, Karo at first spends a carefree time filled with happy memories, but her joy over her homecoming is short-lived. Notorious womanizer Kai, whose countless affairs had put their marriage at risk more than once in the past, still seems incapable of resisting the attractions of the opposite sex.
