What would life have been like, living there and then? The protagonists and their stories take viewers to medieval castles, New York City of the late 19th century, which is just becoming the global metropolis it is today, and Dresden lying in ruins post-war. The films again will each shadow one protagonist and portray the historical reality of how they lived their lives. The characters are created in line with historical probability. This means that while the characters are invented, but they might have existed in their day.
