Two people die in quick succession, one while working in the forest and the other in a motorcycle accident. Inspector Fichte suspects a connection with a biker gang known as The Wolves. He needs Inspector Krüger’s help with his investigation, but Krüger, in the midst of a serious existential crisis, refuses to get involved. While Fichte works with ambitious police trainee Luise Bohn in an attempt to solve the mysterious deaths, Krüger withdraws deep into the forest.
