While Anna takes time off from work to write a book about her experiences as a Criminal Investigations inspector, a young female vendor is found dead in a van at the weekly farmers’ market in Münster. Inspectors Overbeck and Drechshage, who are filling in for Anna in the ongoing investigation, take charge of the case. Suspicion quickly falls on René, who has a criminal history and a questionable alibi. As the investigation unfolds, Anna faces mounting pressure to ensure her second book surpasses the success of her first.
