The homicide of Bruno Lohmann leads Vera Lanz and her team to a high school in Munich. The police detectives find out that Lohmann wasn’t very popular – neither among the students nor his colleagues and the parents. The investigators are confronted with ongoing final exams that put the students under a lot of pressure. The students Julian Schröder and Peter Behnke become the main suspects of the investigations. Julian was caught cheating, Peter, best student of the year, was the first person at the crime scene. On top, Peter’s father is trying to prevent his sons questioning. Eventually the investigations reveal an affair between Lohmann and his secretary and mother of student Vanessa that ended recently. What were the students willing to do, in order to pass these difficult exams? How far gets a mother’s love or the pressure of the educational system?
