Anna, an employee in a Stockholm auction house, has long been in love with her boss Sven. But the sympathetic, reserved Sven is not interested in having a relationship.
In Anna, he only sees his perfect assistant. When Sven starts thinking about dating again, Anna decides to help him. She pairs him off with her friend Sophie, who seems to be quite happy. It’s a very different story with Anna, whose success in the matter makes her suffer.
At the same time, the confrontation between Anna’s meticulously precise father Carl and his free-spirited neighbor Lotta comes to a head. Carl’s sense of precision collides with her charming chaos, which he finds awful – and she sweet. They both engage in verbal skirmishes until a momentous incident between the two takes place.
