Pastry chef Hilla and receptionist Jonas have both started working at the Hotel Sternberg at the same time. Jonas soon tries to win her affection, but it is all in vain. The beginning of a series of thefts in the hotel draws the police's attention to Hilla who, in turn, wonders why her boss, the famous pastry chef Mika Stendal, is reacting so strangely towards her. And why does he claim that Hilla's scrumptious creations are his? Bankruptcy looms, as does a takeover by a hotel magnate. The hotel's reputation is at stake.
