Lord Douglas Chandon is about to marry Sophie, the love of his life. But as Douglas and the wedding guests wait for the bride, she is waiting for her brother Edward, who is at the pub trying to forget that his little sister is going to marry the wrong man. As she looks for Edward by car, Sophie causes an accident, but the motorcyclist is unhurt.
