Curator Mia Barlow practically grew up in the museum from the time director Trevor Murphy and his wife Hannah, the museum’s conservator, took her in as a foster child. When Hannah becomes seriously ill and Trevor has to care for her, Mia is determined to fill his shoes at the museum. But she faces several obstacles, as the museum is no longer profitable and is supposed to be closed for good.
