Lena Lorenz looks after a couple who insist on giving birth to their first baby on their farm. But then Eliana has bleedings and must go to the hospital against her will.
Eliana leaves the hospital on her own. Lena finds out that she’s living in Germany illegally. At the same time, Lena finds herself in the midst of emotional turmoil, as the committed midwife discovers she’s pregnant.
She really did not expect that. How will Quirin react? Especially considering the fact that he is currently rethinking his career and busy organising his jump into self-employment.
Meanwhile, Lena’s friend Julia actively pursues her new-found passion for climbing. Her current climbing partner Oscar Schwarz isn’t just charming, but also extremely attractive. Julia takes him straight to the Lorenzhof, where he moves into the holiday flat. Basti, on the other hand, responds to the good-humoured holiday guest with hostility.. It seems Oscar has an eye on his ex-boyfriend Franz. And Basti discovers that he is quite jealous.
Lena is not aware of most of this, as she’s faced with a very different problem: the longer she keeps her pregnancy a secret, the more difficult it is for her to discuss it with Quirin.
