Lena is dumbfounded when life partners Alex and Franzi turn up at her midwife’s practice, both obviously pregnant. Their plan is to be pregnant together and then be mothers together. Franzi is passionate about large families that also include the fathers to a certain extent. Alex shares Franzi’s desire for a family but feels overwhelmed by the demands of complete gender equality, which becomes apparent to Lena when the first baby arrives.
