Miriam and Benjamin want to get married shortly before the birth of their first child. As their midwife, Lena is happy for them. Miriam’s mother Susanne, however, is horrified. She halts the ceremony, forced to reveal a decades-old secret: Miriam and Benjamin are brother and sister. She and Benjamin’s father Thomas had an affair while on vacation.
