Romy and Ben’s joy at their first baby is enormous – Lena remembers why she loves her job as a midwife so much. But their plans for the future are abruptly shattered. After the death of his wife, Wolfgang Engert had opened a nursery with Romy. Ben, however, is a pastry chef, and he and Romy are planning to open their own café. Wolfgang is outraged about this. Exasperated, Romy loads plants into the van and drives off alone – then there is an accident.
